A - Edge Orient
In the edge orientation,
the parting line in the mold is straight with no bends or contours. This
simplifies the molding process and mold assembly.
Metal
flow in the edge orientation will be smooth and direct into the
two sections of the arm. The
cores for the center bores will sit horizontally securely positioned in the bottom/drag section of the mold.
