direct transition into the foot pad with sharp corners and edges, as shown in the Baseline
Design figure.
- Two options are shown with
different designs for reducing the stress concentrations and providing a smooth transition
between the sections.
Choose
the design (Option A or Option B)
which will best reduce the stress concentrations and prevent "hot spots" in the
