- The polyimide resin has the lowest density (1.43 g/cc)
compared to the two metals.
- But it does not match the stiffness/ modulus, thermal
conductivity, temperature capability, or strength of either magnesium or aluminum.
- In addition, the polyimide has significantly higher thermal
expansion, compared to the metals.
